Valentine Matchbook Treat Holders

I saw this idea on Pinterest -- posted by "thestampdoc" and HAD to make them.   They were extremely easy to make and hold just enough candy to give out to friends.   Made about 60 of these for my boys to hand out at school and neighborhood friends for Valentine's.   

I did pull out my Retired Designer Series Paper for this project, but no one but you will know. . . LOL!!

You Plus Me - Valentine's Card

Here is my final project for my January classes.    Valentine's Day is just around the corner, so I decided to make this very simple card using the You Plus Me Bundle (You Plus Me Stamp Set and the Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack).   I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (4 x 5 1/4") and stamped my desired Sentiment from the You Plus Me stamp set in Real Red.   Than I took my Whisper White Cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot with the Heart Framelits.    Next, I mounted it to the Stacked with Love DSP with dimensionals.   Finally, I mounted it to a Real Red Card-base.   

This is a basic card, but you could step it up some by embossing the card front, adding more stamped images, or some "bling" with Dazzling Details, Sequins, Dazzling Diamonds, etc.

Blessed Easter Love -- Modified Case

A friend of mine needed an Anniversary card for her hubby and while I was on Splitcoaststampers for some inspiration, I found what I was looking for (card by OSusanna).   I modified the card by excluding the scalloped edge, adding ribbon and changing the Sentiment.    

The tulips are stamped twice, one set was cut out and "popped up" with a dimensional.   Love the effect -- really finishes the card nicely!

I had a Great time traveling and visiting family over Christmas and New Years, but I am SOOOOOO Happy to be stamping again!   Getting ready for my January Classes.    Here is a card I made for two Challenges -- Color Challenge presented by Pals Paper Arts Blog and the Sketch from Create with Connie and Mary.    When I saw this sketch, I knew I wanted my card full of Hearts for Valentine's Day.

Playing with an "oldie but goodies" paper technique -- Criss Cross Card.   

Loved playing with my Heart and Hearts a Flutter Framelits in making the embellishments for the card.  The Red Glimmer Paper really gave the card the "sparkle" I was looking for!!  ENJOY!!

More Amore Valentines Card

I am LOVING the new Spring Mini, aren't you!!!!  :)

This is a Valentine's card that I made for my January classes.   The Laser Cut Heart sheets (comes in Red and Primrose Petals) that come in the More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper (#129309) is my favorite "embellishment" on the card.   I think my Stampin Ladies will agree!
