Best Thoughts Hostess Card - FMS190

Posting another one of my samples for my upcoming All Occcasion Stamp-a-Stack.  

I am loving this sketch posted over at Freshly Made Sketches.    I decided to make two different cards with new stamps sets from the 2015-2016 Annual Catalog.    The first one is using a Hostess Set (Best Thoughts) and the second one is using the You've Got This stamp set.   

Best Thoughts:  I hand cut the butterfly and used a dimensional to make it "pop" off the flower.   I also watercolored the flower after stamping in Memento Ink (Black).  I love the Memento Ink -- it will not bleed with water or alcohol based inks. . . it's my "go to black".

Bubble Wrap Beautiful Bunch

Now. . . . say that three times fast!!  LOL

I was watching some YouTube videos on different techniques last night and came across the "Bubble Wrap Technique" posted by Dawn Griffiths.   Super fun and simple to do, but the final product is AMAZING!!   I just had to make a card using this technique.    My first sample is made with Daffodil Delight and pretty much copied from Dawn.    My 2nd sample is for my Club class this coming weekend.   I did make some changes; stamps, embellishments, etc. and LOVE the final product.

Another August Class sample posting here.     We are going to be making this Easel Card using the Work of Art Stamp Set.    Playing along with a new Blog Challenge I came across from Stampin Royalty.   The Challenge this week is a Theme Challenge -- Stamped Backgrounds.    The Work of Art Stamp set fits this challenge to a T.   There are so many possibilities with set!

Masking Tape Sympathy - FMS94

I am starting to get OBSESSED with the Masking Tape Technique -- LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! 

This card was inspired by the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.   When I saw the sketch, I instantly went for the masking tape.  Was easy, because it was on my work station since I was working on completing my swaps for Convention!!  :)

Masking Tape Sympathy Card

Ever since I saw this technique on Splitcoaststampers I have been wanting to PLAY!!    It is SUPER easy yet gives your card an AMAZING effect!     I think my Stamping Ladies are going to LOVE making this card this coming weekend.    Hope you like it too!!

Field Flowers Card

We never like to have to send Sympathy cards but unfortunately life happens.   I thought that this card would be nice to send in someone in need.  Made a 2nd version that shares a "lighter" note.   I used the Masking Technique to layer the flowers on the Very Vanilla Cardstock.     Simple but Elegant card!  Enjoy!

Secret Garden Sympathy Card FTL230

Playing around today with the Secret Garden Stamp set and Framelit bundle.   This set fits the Sketch Challenge from Clean & Simple Blog perfectly.    I decided to stamp and emboss with Clear powder on colored cardstock and think the final product is very elegant.  You can find the banners in the Hearts a Flutterr framelit set.   I like the way they look together; do you agree?

Midnight Muse - Love & Sympathy Card

Another sample for my All Occasion Stamp-a-Stack in July.  This is made as a sympathy card, but could easily be an "all occasion" card.   I got to play with the new Stampin' Spritzer and made a Marina Mist Shimmer Spritz.   SO COOL!!

Simply Soft -- With Sympathy

I really like the Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride Combo.  The Simply Soft Hostess set is one of my FAVORITE new sets in the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog!!!  :)   This is for a monthly swap I am involved in.  You can't see the Vanilla Smooch, but it is on the 3" whisper white circle.
