Work of Art Flourishes Card

Another one of my samples for my upcoming classes this weekend.    I am adding a "quick-n-simple" card to my monthly classes.   This card should take only a few minutes to make, versitile with colors, stamps, and/or occasion.    I decided to go with my "brights" for this card; wanted to bring some sunshine to my friends day with this Thank You and Birthday card.    You can also use subtles if you are in  need of a Sympathy or Get Well card too.

I used the sentiments from Blooming with Kindness (on the retirement list).  This is a MUST HAVE stamp set. . . if you don't have it yet I would definitely consider purchasing, you will NOT be disappointed.  I am very sad to see it go, but I will still continue making cards with it!  :)   Clear#126422 $16.95 or Wood#131961 $17.21 (on sale).

Hope you enjoy my Project!

Crazy About You-Mother's Day FMS181

I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter weekend with Family and/or Friends.  We were blessed to spend the weekend with my family.  The kids had a blast playing with their Cousins. . . coloring eggs, Church, egg hunt, and enjoying the wonderful weather outside!!

I have been prepping for my upcoming April Classes and wanted to share a modified case card with you (original by Carol Paynes; found on pinterest).   I am also playing along with the Sketch Challenge posted by Freshly Made Sketches Blog.

I will be using the Crazy About You Stamp set found in the Occasional Catalog (Wood #138856 $51.95, Clear #138859 $38.95 or Photopolymer #137137 $24.95) and the Hello You Thinlit (#137363 $24.95).    I would recommend buying these two as a Bundle and saving 15% (Wood #139324 $65.25, Clear #139325 $54.25 or Photopolymer #138873 $42.25).    You will NOT regret purchasing these items!!     The Stamp set also coordinates with the 1 3/4 Scallop Circle Punch (#119854 $16.95)and Flower Medallion Punch #137417 $16.95.

Do Not forget the 2013-2015 In Colors are Retiring this year. . . . DO NOT WAIT for the Retirement List (posting April 21st) to come out to get your supplies.  The dreaded three words "While Supplies Lasts" will be attached to them!

I hope you like my project!

Painted Petals FTL2 and PP235

Wanted to get some time in the craft room today so playing along with two challenges.   The Sketch is from Clean and Simple (FTL2-Take Two) and the Color Challenge is from The Paper Players (PP235).

You will see two different versions of the card below.  It is amazing how different a card can look by just changing up a few colors.    Let me know what your thougths are on the two versions!  :)

The Painted Petals stamp set in the Occasionals catalog caught my eye right away.   I chose to purchase the set in Photopolymer (Item #137146 $23.95) but it is also available in Wood (Item#138819 $32.95) and Clear (Item#138822 $24.95).   I have found that any "Two-Step" stamps I can purchase in photopolymer the better.   It makes it super easy to line the stamps up, which is perfect and saves me a lot of cardstock!  You could always pull out the Stamp-a-ma-jig if you perfect your stamps in Wood or Clear.

Hope you enjoy my project!

Original card below, but came across the Color Challenge so changed it up to play along!

Stampin Up! Products:
Stamp:  Painted Petals

Accessories:  Crumb Cake Seam Binding, White Organza Ribbon (spritzed with Choc Chip Reinker), Color Dots (So Saffron and Choc Chip), Sponge Daubers

Lotus Blossom Thank You - FMS175

Playing along with the weekly Sketch Challenge from Freshly Made Sketches Blog.   LOVE LOVE LOVE the sketch, can be used for so many stamps and occasions.

I made the first sample and than decided the background needed a little something more, so took my Blackberry Bliss Sponge Dauber and went to work.   It still needed something so decided to try out the Bokeh Technique I have been seeing.  I think my techique still needs some "tweeking", but love the final result of my card I am submitting for the Sketch Challenge.  Isn't it interesting how the Lotus Blossoms have a different "look" with the two different backgrounds?

Don't you just LOVE "One-Stamp Set" cards?    It is fun to mix things up, but it is wonderful to be able to pull one stamp set out and make a card.    You can earn the Lotus Blossom Stamp Set for FREE with a $50.00 product order (prior to s/h and tax) through March, 31, 2015.   Please also check out the newly added Sale-a-bration products below.

Hope you enjoy my Project!

Bubble Wrap Beautiful Bunch

Now. . . . say that three times fast!!  LOL

I was watching some YouTube videos on different techniques last night and came across the "Bubble Wrap Technique" posted by Dawn Griffiths.   Super fun and simple to do, but the final product is AMAZING!!   I just had to make a card using this technique.    My first sample is made with Daffodil Delight and pretty much copied from Dawn.    My 2nd sample is for my Club class this coming weekend.   I did make some changes; stamps, embellishments, etc. and LOVE the final product.

Hope you like my samples!

Lotus Blossom - Thank You - TSOT200

It feels SOOOOOO good to be back in my craft room stamping again.  Took some time off during the Holidays to spend time with our Family and Friends.    Now it's time to get back to "work".    Here is a sample for my January classes.   Found the sketch over at Try Stamping on Tuesday's Blog.   Love the simplicity of the sketch; you can make just about any card you want for any occasion.

I am highlighting several items from the Sale-a-bration Brochure: the Lotus Blossom Stamp, Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper and Accessory Pack.  You can earn these products for FREE through March 31, 2015.   For every $50.00 in product (prior to s/h and tax) you earn one (1) item out of the Sale-a-bration Brochure.  If you spend $100, you get two (2) and so on.

Hope you like my Project!!

Happy Blooming Birthday - Flower Patch

Here is a sample for my July classes; I was so excited to see Stamp set in the catalog!    My excitement got even bigger when I saw it was available as a Bundle with the coordinating framelits (Flower Fair) for a saving of 15%!!   There are so many things you can do with this stamp set and framelits.
The Photopolymer set is very easy to use and is perfect for Two-Step stamping.   Makes it extremely easy to line up the 2nd stamp; but you can still use the Stamp-a-ma-jig (#101049; $11.95) if you are more comfortable.
Since all the stamps have a coordinating framelit, if you are smart with your stamping, you can cut almost all the pieces needed for this card with one "run" through the big shot; excluding the leaves.   For the leaves, I used Old Olive ink; I "stamped off" for the base of the leaves to give it a lighter look than stamped with the leaves with a freshly inked stamp.   The flowers are two different colors, but you could do the same process if you wanted too.

I hope my stamping ladies like this project and are excited to make it next month!  :)
