With Love - SC425

Saw this Sketch Challenge on Splitcoaststampers and decided to "play".

Amazing Birthday PCCCS031

Another card made for the sketch challenge presented by Paper Craft Crew Challenges.   My layout is a little "different" but I think it still works.

I LOVE the Hearts a Flutter framelits in the Spring Mini.  There are a lot of possible combinations between the hearts and banners in the set.   Think outside the Valentine's Day "box".  :)

Stampin Up! Products:
Stamps:  You're Amazing
Cardstock:  Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
Paper:  World Spectacular Designer Series Paper

Button Buddies - PCCCS#31

Another great sketch challenge from Paper Craft Crew Challenges blog.

I FINALLY broke down and bought the Button Buddies stamp set (I have been wanting for months now)!!!    The flower in the stamp set is almost perfect for the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle punch, so I used the punch as my "mask".  The set "calls" for the use of buttons, but decided to use the In Color Dahlias instead and I think it finished the card of nicely.

Stampin Up! Products:
Stamps:  Button Buddies and Curly Cute
Cardstock:  Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit and Whisper White
Ink: Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, Primrose Petals
Accessories:  In Color Dahlias, 1 3/4 Scallop Circle Punch and Glue Dots

I have been wanting to try this technique since the tutorial was posted on SplitcoastStampers (Zoetrope Technique) a few weeks ago.

When my two boys came home from school today they HAD to pull the string to see what happens -- LOL!!!    It REALLY spins and is "So Cool".

I made this card for my Stamping Club that are meeting this weekend.   I think they will have a lot of fun with it!!  Hope you enjoy the card!

Midnight Muse Birthday-CASED

My Hostess for my Stampin Club this weekend saw this card on Splitcoast Stampers (made by girl3boys0; Paper Creations by Mercedes) and wanted to make it.   I made a few changes to the card, but I love the final product. The Ovals are actually lined up, but the picture is angled so you see some of the DSP in the background; sorry!!

The card really shows off a lot of the wonderful new products that Stampin Up! released in the Spring Mini!!

I stamped one of the Secret Garden Flowers three (3) times on the Watercolor Paper --  I cut bottom layer out with the coordinating framelit.  The other two were cut by hand and layered with dimensionals.  Finished it off with some Silver Dazzling Details.    Hope this picture below gives it the justice it deserves.

Stamps:  Secret Garden, Wishes Your Way, Vintage Verses
Cardstock:  Crumb Cake, Midnight Muse, Very Vanilla
Paper:  Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack, Watercolor Paper
Ink:  Black Stazon, Midnight Muse

Summer Afternoon Print Poetry

I just LOVE the new Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stick (#129312) in the Spring Mini.   The paper size is PERFECT for cards and/or Scrapbooking and you can't beat the price of $6.95 for 48 sheets (double-sided).

Here is a sample for my February workshops.  I have two versions, as I try and give my Stamping Ladies options for their cards.  I used a mask and sponged the grass and sky prior to stamping the sentiment and coloring the images.   The Little Friends image was colored in with our Marvelous Markers and the Summer Afternoon (hostess exclusive) image was colored in with the Watercolor Wonder Crayons with Aqua Painters.
