A Ray of Sunshine - FMS134

Once I saw the Sketch presented over at Freshly Made Sketches I knew what I was going to make. This card is very appropriate because it's been raining the past few days and I needed some "Sunshine" in my life!  :)    It reminds me of a Sunset at the beach.  I had stamped some dots from the Gorgeous Grunge set in the Island Indigo cardstock, but didn't love it.   I had done this after I had adhered everything together(I know, rookie mistake right?) so I added some Dazzling Details.  Like I always tell my Stamping Ladies, it's not a mistake, but an Embellishment Opportunity!!!  The Dazzling Details really made it more of a "water" effect and I LOVE IT!!

Wouldn't you like to receive this card in the mail when you needed a little support or just feeling blue?   I know I would!

I hope you enjoy my project and that it brings some Sunshine into your life.

My Mother - FMS130

Trying to get a last minute submission done for the sketch presented at Freshly Made Sketches.

The Watercolor Wonder DSP is by far my favorite Designer Series Paper in the Occasional Catalog -- It's not only the patterns, but the colors too.   They are so bright and beautiful; I can't stop using it!!  LOL.

This is a simple Mother's Day card for the sketch challenge.   Not a lot to it, but I think it turned out nicely!    I didn't have the Tangerine Tango ribbon I needed, so I decided to make my own by using the Stampin Spritzer , rubbing alcohol (70%), and Tangerine Tango reinker.  I than sprayed the mixture onto the White Organza Ribbon.

I hope you like my project!
