Blooming Flip Down Stack Card

Saw this technique on Splitcoaststampers.com and thought of my Monthly Club immediately.   I changed the dimensions of the card to make it a standard A2.   I think the ladies will enjoy making this card this weekend.   The Sale-a-brations stamp set (Bloomin' Marvelous #129651) works perfectly for this card.

Celebrate with Balloons - consider it cased

I saw this card on Splitcoast Stampers (1stampingnightowl made it) and fell in love!!   I decided to use the Glimmer Paper for the clouds instead of Whisper White, but otherwise it is pretty much the same.  

My Stamping Group will be making this card this coming Saturday and I hope they really like it!! :)  

I think I may sponge the background in Bashful Blue to "create" more of a sky on my 2nd sample -- gotta play a little more before the weekend (oh darn).

"Magic" Mixed Bunch

I was asked by a customer, "What can you do with Clear Embossing Powder?"  Here is one answer -- create a beautiful card using the "Magic Snowflake" technique.  All you need is Glossy White Paper, Clear (or white) embossing powder, heat gun, cotton balls, rubbing alcohol, and reinkers.    My stamping group will be making the card shown below this coming Saturday! 

Magic Snowflake Technique:
(1)  Emboss your design using Clear or White Embossing Powder on Glossy White Paper.
(2) Put some rubbing alcohol onto the cotton ball (saturate it about half-way).
(3) Place several drops of re-inkers on the cotton ball (used three colors above).
(4) Start dabbing the wet cotton ball over the entire paper until desired pattern is achieved.
(5) Heat the Glossy White paper and "Magically" watch as the ink evaporates off the embossed design.

Enchantment Rosette Card

Thinking of You Rosette

One of my upcoming hostesses wants to learn how to make Rosettes using the Simply Scored.   I got to play around today and made this cute one using the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper.   Threw it on a simple card layout and here is the result.  Not sure of the final card for her workshop, so going to keep playing around (oh darn!).  :)
