A Ray of Sunshine - FMS134

Once I saw the Sketch presented over at Freshly Made Sketches I knew what I was going to make. This card is very appropriate because it's been raining the past few days and I needed some "Sunshine" in my life!  :)    It reminds me of a Sunset at the beach.  I had stamped some dots from the Gorgeous Grunge set in the Island Indigo cardstock, but didn't love it.   I had done this after I had adhered everything together(I know, rookie mistake right?) so I added some Dazzling Details.  Like I always tell my Stamping Ladies, it's not a mistake, but an Embellishment Opportunity!!!  The Dazzling Details really made it more of a "water" effect and I LOVE IT!!

Wouldn't you like to receive this card in the mail when you needed a little support or just feeling blue?   I know I would!

I hope you enjoy my project and that it brings some Sunshine into your life.

  4. My first idea was also a sun, but I couldn't find the stamps I wanted to use. I love what you did with it and I hope I can clean my room and make mine at some point. lol :) Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches.
