Too Kind - Thinlit Card

FINALLY got my New Label Card Thinlit Die (#133479) and Circle Card Thinlit Die (#133480) from "Mr. Brown".   These Dies are AMAZING and have so many possibilities from simple to more detailed cards.   I made a simple Bermuda Bay card for my August classes!  

I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig (#101049) to stamp the flowers.   This was honestly my first time using the tool, and I LOVE IT!!!  I am feeling pretty embarrassed for not pulling it out before now. . . . I LOVE my two-step stamps and always felt that I was "good enough" to line them up on my own.  This tool allows for very little error (totally worth the $11.95) and will be on hand for future projects.   :)

Halloween Bash STS#1

Saw this Sketch Challenge from Seize the Sketch today and had to play along!  :)   I knew I was going to go for my Washi Tape, it was just a matter of deciding which "set" and theme I wanted to use.    I finally decided on a Halloween theme -- Was lucky to win the Halloween Bash stamp set during a Prize Patrol at Convention this year.

Wetlands - Masculine Card

I am so inspired by all the Creative Stampin Up! Demonstrators I was able to meet at Convention.  When I saw the "Wetlands" stamp set in the in 2013-2014 Annual Catalog I didn't really think it was "my cup of tea" and didn't put it on my wish list.   Well, it was one of the first items on my order after I returned from Convention.   

The first card below is a CASe from Denise Schaller from Hebron, CT and will be made at my August Classes.   I sometimes "struggle" with masculine cards and never have any on hand when one is needed.    Well, NO MORE thanks to the Wetlands stamp set!!

Joyful Christmas CASed

A fellow RemARKable Stamper (Michele Reynolds) shared her version of this card with our group and I FELL IN LOVE and HAD to make it!!   Decided that I wanted to share with all my wonderful Stampin Ladies so this is one of my August class samples as well!! :)     

One of my new favorite embellishments from the Holiday Catalog are the Frosted Finished Embellishments (#132150; $6.95 for 12).   I thought they would really finish off my card, so I put covered it with Versamark, sprinkled some Gold Embossing Powder over it and heat set.   Below is the side-by-side comparison.  

Stamped and embossed the Poinsettia twice.  Cut one full-size and the second smaller and layered with dimensionals.
