Open Sea Birthday - FMS124

Happy Hump Day!!!

Playing along with one of my Favorite Sketch Challenge Blogs -- Freshly Made Sketches.   When I saw the sketch I was going to do something with flowers and/or Spring themed, but than spied my World Map Background Stamp and the light bulb went on.    I love the technique that the Stampin Up! Annual Catalog demonstrates on page 23; gently dragging the ink pad over cardstock to create a multi-colored background.

I hope you enjoy my Project!

Close-up of the Ship from The Open Sea stamp set.  Hand-cut, and water-colored.

  2. Michelle, this is AMAZING!!!! The whole make-up of this card is just rilliant. I love the map stamp but moreover how you have processed the colours and also kept it as three panels. The ship is great and I love the use of the string and button too. Perfect!!! Laura xx
