Hello You Hardwood Card - STS#16

Can't stop making cards with this Sketch from Seize the Sketch Blog.    I have seen a lot of Demonstrators use the Hardwood Background Stamp from the Occasional Catalog and make it into a fence and wanted to try my hand at it.    You can trim your pieces down with the Stampin' Trimmer and than that your Chevron Boarder punch to make the tops of the fence.

Blast Off Shaker Card - STS#16

Playing around with the Sketch Challenge from Seize the Sketch Blog.   I wanted to do something a little different.  While scanning through the catalog I saw the "Blast Off" set and loved how they showed it as a shaker card.     So I grabbed my circle punches and snips and went to work.

Polka Dot Parade Fringe Card - Modified Case

This is the last sample for my upcoming class.   My friend found a card on facebook at (NicoleWilsonStampinUp) and I loved it so much I had to make my own version of the card for my class.    The new Fringe Scissors (#133325 $9.95) in the Occasional Catalog are just AMAZING -- so many possibilities.

Simple Stems "Fuzzies" Card - Modified Case

I saw a card made by a fellow demonstrator over at Confessions of a stamping addict and HAD to make it.   Don't these guys remind you of "Fuzzies"???   SO CUTE!!!  

I made a few modifications to the original card, but LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE.  This is perfect for a child's birthday and you can modify for either gender.   The card uses the Simple Stems stamp set from the Occasional Catalog (C-133101 or W- 133098).

Making a last minute card submission for the Sketch Challenge posted at Freshly Made Sketches blog.  This sketch is simple and extremely versatile.   I have so many ideas running through my head I can't make the cards quickly enough!  LOL.     I decided to make a Gold and Vanilla Mother's Day card; Grabbed my Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Tool and went for it!  :)

Envelope Punch Board Easter Box

Good Morning All!    I saw this video on YouTube for an Envelope Punch Board Box and knew I had to try my hand at it.   This sample is for my March Classes -- thought a cute Easter Box/Basket would be perfect.    This little box is perfect for a few little treats -- mini Hershey bars or Hershey Kisses.   They also only take a 6x6 sheet of cardstock or Designer Series Paper (DSP) so you can make a lot in a short period of time!

I love the new Spiral Flower Originals Die in the Occasional Catalog.   It is a great addition to any 3D project or cards (can be a tight fit in the envelope so "distress" the flower so it is more flexible).

Hexagon Hive Soccer Bday Card

I am just LOVING the new Hexagon Hive Thinlit in the Occasional Catalog!   I knew I was eventually going to make a soccer ball out of it and finally made the time to get it done!    This card literally took me less than 5 minutes to make.   Not only is it a quick card to make, but is as cute as can be!!  

The Fringe Scissors not only make great "Grass" but don't stop there.  You can make grass skirts, any find of "fringe" effect, confetti, and more.   I was going to use the Cupcake Builder Punch for my clouds, but thought they were too small, so I went for the Word Bubble Framelits.   

Cards don't have to take hours to make to be amazing.   Don't over-think it, just do it!!!

Hardwood Hexagon Hive - FMS125

Making some time to play in my craft room today.   Here is my submission for the Sketch Challenge from Freshly Made Sketches.    This card is for my March Classes; I love how the Hexagon Hive Thinlit Die adds Beautiful dimension to the card.   I stamped the Hardwood Background stamp on two pieces of Crumb Cake Cardstock and cut one of them out with the Hexagon Hive Thinlit and layered it with dimensionals.
